In the spring of 2000, recognized for his business expertise and dynamic leadership skills, Jim was asked by the Career Development Office of a major University to lead a seminar series for displaced timber workers who had lost their jobs due to tightened environmental regulations in the Pacific Northwest. After speaking with a number of these groups, it was obvious that these were highly skilled, motivated individuals who simply lacked a plan.
Noting this lack of a planning and goal setting, Jim set out to develop a program to provide direction and goals to those who were unemployed, underemployed, college students transitioning to the job market, and to those who did not know how to take the next step in finding success both in career and life. To create such a program, Jim relied on what he knew best, that which had guided him to success in his own life and business endeavors: a simple business plan. From this A Business Plan for Life was born.
At the core of every successful business organization there is a comprehensive business plan. In the A Business Plan For Life seminar, Jim demonstrates how using a simple business plan format as your core, will help guide you to create your very own personal roadmap to success..
