Hey Jim,
You probably don’t remember me, but I was the one who asked all the dumb questions. When I attended your workshop I was an unemployed single mom. My life was out of control. I really needed a plan. The Business Plan For Life was perfect. It gave me a way to plan and set goals for myself which is something I had never done before.
Today, I’m proud to say thanks to you, I employed (not in my perfect job), attending Community College in the evenings and my kids are doing great. I have my son who is 14 doing his own Business Plan for Life and I think it has actually helped him set goals and focus on what’s important.
I just wanted to write you and say thanks. Without your encouragement and your Business Plan For Life I might be still unemployed and worse, unhappy and miserable. Thanks again.
Your Friend,
Molly Q Medford, Oregon
Dear Mr. Mitchell,
Thank you for your program and the Business Plan For Life. At the time I attended your workshop I was an unemployed 44 year old father of four with no future. I had worked as a yard hand and forklift operator for a Plywood company since getting out of high school.
Finding myself unemployed at my age was about the scariest thing that has ever happened to me. I was actually afraid that my family and I would be homeless at one point, and then I read about you seminar. I had nothing to lose, so I attended and that’s when the light went on, all I needed was a plan! The way you connected with the audience let us all know that you had walked in our shoes. Your Business Plan For Life gave the hope I needed and helped me figure out where I needed to be to move forward and support my family and most important, to find a position that is right for me.
It took some time, I took classes at the local Community College in the evening while working odd jobs to keep the family going and an now working full time for the U.S. Postal Service. I have great benefits, retirement and weekends off to spend with the family. Thanks to you and your Business Plan For Life this is all possible.
Sincerely,
Ron L Sutherlin, Oregon
Dear Jim,
I wanted to drop you a note of thanks for your great workshop and for introducing me to your Business Plan For Life. When I attended you workshop I was a sophomore at the University of Oregon toying with majoring in English. After hearing you speak and going through the BP4L, I realized that the type of income that one could reasonably expect from a pursuit of an English major was far below what I had envisioned for myself.
After working the plan a number of ways, I changed my major to International Business and am now working part-time for a firm that sells specialized products worldwide. I plan to go on to a Master’s program next year with the goal securing a position with a firm that has ties to the international economy.
Thanks for your wisdom, insight and guidance. If your firm ever decides to go international and needs a great young executive, I am your man with the plan. Thanks again.
Sincerely,
Brandon A San Jose, California
